Updated Retail Stores
Both Jackson Creek Summit and Black River Basin got a retail upgrade! We can meet your winter apparel needs, from toe warmers to goggles and bottle openers.
Interior Fixtures + Seating
Renovations of the interior chalet added new seating and furniture and replaced the 30-year-old carpeted flooring upstairs and downstairs.
Exterior Ticket Windows
These were added to the Sugar Maple Chalet exterior to allow for more area inside the chalet for more seating and guest space. With this addition, we added two more sales points that will enable us to keep up with ticket demand, cutting back on wait time.
Sugar Maple Cafe
This space will provide easier access for grab-and-go items. It will be the primary cafeteria for patrons at Jackson Creek. This cafe is located on the second floor of the chalet.
Exterior Re-Siding
The team is continuing the process of residing the entire building and replacing the rest of the windows, which we began last fall. While waiting for the new windows to arrive, they started their work on the front side of the building by replacing the dilapidated cedar shake siding with new LP Cedar Shake siding, which looks great and will last a very long time. The team is closing in on the completion of the siding installation, with just caulking and painting remaining on a majority of the building. It's amazing how much of a visual difference it makes to have proper siding on the chalet for the first time.
